Smartlog 6 Released: What’s New?
The big day has finally arrived!
After years of planning, meetings, and development, we are proud to have released our latest version of Smartlog – free to all current customers – log in here to explore.
On the 1st of October 2026, all Smartlog accounts were automatically upgraded to the newest platform, providing instant access to the new features. Since 2004, we have been the proud suppliers of Smartlog, enabling organisations to take control of their compliance management through one centralised software system.
Throughout the years it has been a rollercoaster of a journey and we can’t thank you all enough for your continued support – take a look at some of our milestones below:
Smartlog’s Evolution
A lot has changed since our first edition of Smartlog over two decades ago. The online world was still new to many, dial-up internet was still widely used, and the first smartphone hadn’t even been released yet! This all added up to create an entirely different experience to what we have now.
Today we use all sorts of different software without a second thought, and it has become integral to our day to day, with health & safety being no exception. Upon its release, Smartlog immediately aimed to give businesses more control in their fire safety management. We focused our efforts on its ease-of-use and affordable pricing structure to make its dent in the market.
The last 22 years has brought many updates to the system, evolving the platform into what we all know and love today, working hard to introduce new modules and build on our customers’ feedback.

What’s new in Smartlog?
Despite all the new features, design and improvements, we wanted to keep the platform familiar – with no disruption or added cost for our users. So all of your data and records can still be found in the same place, and we have made sure not to change any of your existing settings.

Every Smartlog module now has a refreshed Reporting section built around the information you use the most – see your overall picture and demonstrate compliance across your whole organisation.

Personalised to every user’s workflow
A number of practical improvements have been introduced which cut the time spent on routine tasks, and give every user a more personalised Smartlog experience.
Including all this, there is so much more to get your hands on in the near future, from our two sneaky new additions, Room Booking and Climate Action Plans, to the smaller quality of life changes – ready when you need them.
Smartlog has taken another leap forward thanks to the fantastic support we have received from our customers over the years, and we would love to thank you all for making this possible. Looking back on our journey is inspiring and we are excited to see where the future takes us.
